We often receive e-mails from property owners concerned that our web site isn't displaying their property purchase. When a deed is presented to our Transfer Desk, the new ownership information appears on our web site the next day. Unfortunately, closing companies do not always file the new deed with our office in a timely manner. While some file shortly after the closing, others may not file the deed with our office for weeks and, in some cases, months. If you have recently closed on a property and that purchase is not reflected on our website, please follow up with the company who handled your closing to inquire on the status of the property transfer. Again, once it is presented to our office the ownership information is quickly updated.

It is my pleasure to serve as Auditor of Hamilton County Ohio.
