MISCELLANEOUS MINISTERIAL DUTIES
- Serve as Statutory Clerk to County Commissioners - §319.08
- Supply to Secretary of State Information on Public Utilities Located in County - §5727.49
- Notify by Certified Mail County Commissioners & Tax Commissioner of Filing of
- §305.31 through §305.41 Petitions - §5739.02
- Prepare Information on Corporations in County for Secretary of State - §5733.14
- Inform Against Offenders of Public Ferries Statutes - §4583.11
- Release Indigent Prisoners Who Owe Fines or Amercements to County - §319.23
In addition to the duties described above, the Auditor has several miscellaneous ministerial
duties. The Auditor serves as Statutory Clerk to the County Commissioners when the
Commissioners fail to name a clerk. In some instances, such as maintaining a record of
proceedings of the County Highway Improvement Commission, the Auditor is required to
use the Commissioners Journal of Proceedings.
