Keep in mind that in Ohio reappraisals take place every six years. Three years after a reappraisal is a triennial update. The 2023 reappraisal follows the 2020 triennial update which adjusted values three years ago.
2023 REAPPRAISAL PROCESS
The State of Ohio creates a calendar by which each county is required to revalue all its parcels every six years.
This is currently taking place in Hamilton County for 2023. The State requires all Ohio auditors to use uniform procedures to revalue parcels.
The robust real estate market we continue to experience has had a direct impact on market values, since sales are the best indicator of value.
